Faculty Council is a governing body responsible for making crucial decisions for the Faculty. It consists of the Dean, as the chairman, Vice-deans, academic teachers with the following academic titles: Professor, Full Professor or Assistant Professor, representatives of the remaining academic teachers, representatives of PhD students and of the Student Council, as well as representatives of the Faculty employees who are not teachers.

Faculty Council sets and approves academic policy, principles, priorities, and the general direction for the teaching and research activities of the Faculty. Among its many roles and duties.

Faculty Council:

• establishes policies regarding academic matters
• advises the Dean on academic matters
• approves and regulates standards of admissions and programmes of studies
