FAQ

Participants must be students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology who:

  • Have completed the first year of studies (for undergraduate students),
  • Have a grade point average meeting the requirements set by the faculty,
  • Know a foreign language at least at the B2.2 or B2E level,
  • Have the status of a student at PWr.

Study trips last from one to two semesters, depending on individual preferences and the offering of the partner university. Short-term trips can last 5-30 days, and internships must last at least 2 months. 12 months of mobility is available for each degree level (bachelor's, master's, doctoral).

  • Studies – students create a Learning Agreement (LA) with the Faculty Coordinator for the trip, specifying which courses will count towards their studies. Some courses can be taken remotely at PWr. With a well-prepared LA and successful completion of all classes, students can return without a deficit in credits and continue their studies at PWr.
  • Internships – students can complete mandatory internships abroad and receive an Erasmus grant. Additional internships can also be done after completing a bachelor's degree. Important – you must apply before graduation to maintain your student status. The minimum internship duration is 2 months. Internships can be done at a company or a university.
  • BIP – short trips from 5-30 days, such as a summer school or internship. It must be combined with a mandatory virtual component for first- and second-cycle students. Students can participate in no more than three short-term trips during one study cycle.

No, participants are not charged tuition fees at the foreign university. Additionally, a scholarship is provided to cover part of the living costs abroad.

You can submit a declaration about your language proficiency and take an exam organized by the Language Study Center at PWr for Erasmus applicants.

Generally, studies are conducted in English. Some universities may require additional knowledge of languages such as Spanish (A2) or French (B1). The Language Study Center organizes additional preparatory courses, which end with an exam for students applying to those universities. Detailed information is available at the International Relations Center (CRM).

In this case, you must complete the course as part of a remedial program, taking the course initially planned to be studied at PWr.

Will I lose my grant if I do? You can work while studying abroad, as long as the employment is not at the host university. During internships, students may also receive additional remuneration from the host company.
