Ph.D. studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology are run in the field of study: Electrical Engineering. The Faculty is currently making efforts to open another field of study: Automation and Robotics.
The Ph.D. theses cover a wide range of problems related to the following specializations: electric power engineering (electric power automation, electric power systems, transient state analysis, switching phenomena, electric energy management, sources of electric energy, theory of electrical engineering (field theory, signal processing), materials technology (insulation materials, new energy sources), electrostatics, electric machines (design of machines, micromachines), electric drives (drive automatics, power electronics) and electric metrology (digital and analogue metrology).The Faculty offers a great number of scholarships for PhD students – almost all the Faculty Ph.D. students receive scholarships.
