Prof. Mateusz Dybkowski, PhD, DSc, Eng., graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2004. In 2008, he defended his doctoral dissertation with distinction entitled: "Analysis of the vector control system of an induction motor with adaptive angular velocity estimators".
Since 2008, he has been working at the Department of Electrical Machines, Drives and Measurements. In 2014, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, he obtained his habilitation degree for his thesis entitled Estimation of angular velocity in complex drive systems - selected issues in the discipline of Electrical Engineering. Since 2016, he has been employed as a professor at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (currently a university professor). Since 2020, he has been the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering for research and cooperation with the environment, and since 2021, he has been the deputy chairman of the AEETK Scientific Discipline Council. On 14.01.2025 he obtained the academic title of professor of engineering and technical sciences.
Professor Mateusz Dybkowski conducts research in the field of electric drive automation, FTC systems, electromobility and control systems for wind energy. He participated in research projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the National Science Center, the National Center for Research and Development and Horizon EU. He is the author or co-author of over 160 scientific publications. He has promoted 2 PhDs, is the supervisor of 3 PhD students. His number of citations is 832 according to WoS (1748 according to Scopus), index h=13 (WoS) h=14 (Scopus)
