Faculty Convention is an advisory body supporting the activities of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The Convention consists of the Dean, as the chairman, the Vice-Dean for Faculty Development and International Cooperation, the chairman of the Faculty Didactic Commission, the representatives of the Institutes, the representatives of the firms and power stations from Poland, especially from Lower Silesia district and from abroad, the representative of the Polish Association of Electricians (Wrocław Department), the representatives of the local government and of the Student Council.

Among its many roles and duties, the Convention

• gives opinion on creation and termination of fields of study
• gives opinion on programmes of studies from the point of view of the industry sector
• helps with organising the cooperation between the Faculty and the industry sector
• helps with arranging the internships and Master Theses
• supports the promotion of the Faculty
• helps with organising financial support for the Faculty
